Privacy notice

Who we are

Protect Our Primates is run by Protect Our Primates UK Ltd (company no. 17537093), 11 St. John Street, Mansfield, NG18 1QJ. We are the data controller for your information. You can contact us about your data at team@protectourprimates.uk.

What we collect

When you sign up we store your email address and, if you give them, your first name, postcode area and how you'd like to help. We also record when you signed up and the consent wording you agreed to.

Why we collect it

To send you campaign news and updates you asked for, and to connect supporters in the same area to organise locally. Our legal basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

Nobody, except the service we use to send email (SMTP2GO), which processes your email address only to deliver our messages, and Google Analytics if you accept analytics cookies (it never receives your email or name). We never sell or swap your details.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep forms secure. With your permission, we also use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies (named _ga), and Google processes that data on our behalf. Analytics only loads if you click Accept on the cookie banner. You can change your mind any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. We don't use advertising cookies.
